Zentvelds Coffee Long Table Lunch

The moment you drive through the gates you fell in love with the scenery.  All you can see are rows and rows of lush green coffee trees.  For a quite awhile we have wanted to do a long table lunch at Zentvelds and when we finally decided on a date the excitement grew. Rebecca & John offered our guests a tour of their working farm & roaster. They got to listen, taste, smell, feel and see coffee; as guests learnt the story of coffee 'from crop to cup'. They gained an understanding of coffee growing, their sustainable practices, roasting and packing while also enjoying a three course lunch with freshly brewed Zentvelds Coffee.  

The menu consisted of;

Grazing Boards of cured meat, cheeses, antipasto, olives, pesto & cucumber bites, herb goats cheese & mushroom crostini and mini quiches.
Mains:
Koftas with green cous cous and pistachio nuts
Beef cheeks with creamy mash, wilted greens & red wine sauce
Vegetable pinch pot pie with warm freekeh salad
Finishing with dessert:
Tiramisu Layered Cake
Rhubarb & strawberry jelly pots with ginger cream
Coffee biscotti

I recommend a visit out to this beautiful plantation, you wont be disappointed and making sure you attend our next long table lunch.
